Luminance

Luminance is the Visual Division of Hepta Coastline Productions. We offer web & video consulting services on a "Per Case" basis. Luminance is the brainchild of multimedia artist Wen Chang. The visual production arm of Hepta Coastline Productions, a multimedia development thinktank.

Artist's Bio

I studied Animation & Industrial Design from San Francisco State University. I took Fine Art & Digital Art & Animation at the Academy of Art College San Francisco. Godzilla & Ray Harryhausen were my Heroes, growing up.

I worked as the "Artist in Residence" at "Heroes Club", Sculpting & casting original Garage Kits from my own designs, Including "ManSpider" & "Pitdog" (Thanks Robin). I was fortunate enough to recieve an internship at "Skellington Productions", during the making of "A Nightmare Before Christmas" (Thanks Pat). It was a once in a lifetime opportunity to work with all the people I had grown up reading about in "Cinefex". People from ILM like John Berg who worked on the Original "Star Wars" & Craig Davies of "Phil Tippet Studios" fame. I got to work with people from "Chris Walas Studios" in the moldmaking department. I saw that advancements in technology would soon open the door for a new way of producing film & art.

I believe in making technology accessible to people with creative talent. It is now becoming possible for a small production house to be competitive with larger studios. Human ingenuity & talent will always be at the core of any great achievement.
